In the writing and constructing this personal site I was familiarising myself with PHP. There were a number of surprises in this as yet a brief journey but the biggest was the fact that the most loved language was one I had never heard of. The fact that have been working in the industry for over 25 years  left me a little startled. This could be that the survey was floored but even then not to have heard about it was a little odd. Below is the 2020 results of the survey from stack

My current random wandering interest is in the floods in Australia which are described as a once in a hundred year event but then I thought we knew the climate was changing!!. Should we not all be a little more concerned….. but with the UK producing less that 3% of the total carbon emissions in the world this is a very big problem even for very large economies let alone individuals. With China, certainly one of the most active protagonists on the stage looking at Solar to substitute from Coal I think Hydrogen and Solar need very careful further scrutiny.
